    Hi,

Perhaps this is a stupid question but I thought I'd rather be safe than sorry!:

My new T42 (with 512mb RAM) was shipped out this morning and is being sent UPS 2-day so it should be here on Friday. I also ordered an additional 512 meg RAM (for a total of 1 gig) which is only slated to arrive here a week later.

Is it bad to start customizing Windows XP, installing software, using the computer, etc. before the new RAM arrives? Should I wait to receive the full gig before I start the process?

    Thanks,

    Jeremy

    Hi Jeremy,
It does not matter, if your notebook arrives before the memory just start setting things up the way you want and just add it when it arrives.
