This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Officially, the X220 supported 8GB of RAM in 2 4GB DIMMs, but I believe many users have gotten up to 16GB to work without issue. A 4GB + 8GB arrangement with that RAM stick should work fine.

    2 X 8GB would indeed work fine in the X220t. I have it installed in mine.

    As the others have stated, it'll support 2 x 8 GB sticks unofficially.
