    For an LED-backlit 95% NTSC color gamut screen on the W510, that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make ;)

    i have to say, LED backlit is awesome... i never thought i would care until i started using my T43... man its so much more dim!

    For most people though.. the high gamut is a bad thing. Since Windows isn't really colour-aware, it shows over-saturated colours and everything just looks terrible. High gamut is only good for people who specifically use it for their photoshopping... But I guess it's a pretty appropriate choice for the W510 given that it's supposed to be a workstation laptop.

    I think 16:9 is better for 13 and 14 inch laptops, with 1600x900 resolution instead of 1440x900 resolution, and worse for 15-18 inch laptops, with 1920x1080 replacing 1920x1200. Instead, I got the opposite, 14 inch at 16:10 and 15 inch at 16:9. Oh well. That's life.

    I was thinking the same thing earlier, actually. Strange, but I guess eventually everything will be 16:9 regardless. I wonder if the T410 will face some display shortage issues when production starts ramping up - that could be a big issue.
