I have a R40E that if I power it off won't always boot up again. I'll press the power button and nothing happens. I've removed the battery, disconnected the
power cord, etc and still nothing. After doing this 10 or 20 times, I'll finally get the IBM logo screen and it'll come up. The times it doesn't boot, I won't hear anything, but when it finally does boot, I can here the hard drive start. I've gone thru the different power options and they don't seem to make a difference.
I wonder if the power button could be a problem?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks
