    R51 Replacement keyboard problem

    I am on my 2nd R51 replacement keyboard. Same problem with both - the individual keys work intermittently unless hit very hard and even then a key might have to be hit more than once before it responds. Am I just getting "lemons" or could there be a problem beyond the keyboard?

    where did you get the second keyboard from? Lenovo/IBM or some online seller? Thinkpad keyboards are usually quite reliable, and they don't easily break down. Is the same key that is failing/not responding, or different keys randomly?

    Does this problem occur on external keyboards.
