This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    R51 display issue

    One of my client's R51 is having a display issue. If the computer is booted with the screen closed, then opened, the LCD will not power on. I have to do Func-F7 for it to display. If I boot the computer with the display already open, it typically works fine. I checked the BIOS display settings, but saw no change. I also replaced the docking station with no change. Any ideas?
