Just bought a R51 notebook, one pixel is always blue.
If I send it back for exchange, I need to pay the money to UPS.

    Could anyone give some suggestion:
If I send it back, what is the possibility of the exchanged new one has the same problem. (IBM policy says 7 pixels defect is normal, unbelievable!)?

What is the percentage that new purchased notebook has pixel problems?

Many thanks for any info, suggestion ..

stuck pixels is unfortunately more common that it should be...i'd be willing to bet 1/4 laptops have this but many people just don't know to look for it and so they'll never be returned.

Many manufacturers will take a notebook back with 3-dead pixels, I thought IBM had at minimum this policy too, did you but it direct from IBM or somewhere else?

To be honest, I think I'd hold onto the notebook if it's only one pixel.

Thank you very much for the reply.
I bought it from IBM directly.
