While there has been much attention on the Z series, i'm surprised no one hasn't noticed (or at least I just noticed now) that IBM is releasing the ATi x600 card with the R51 model. It's up at IBM but I can't seem to find it when choosing a notebook to purchase.. it's simply mentioned there.

Perhaps this will pave the way to an x600 on the T series? :D

What's the approximate difference in performance between a 9600 and an X600?

Amazing! Lenovo finally ants to make something out of the R series. the 9600 is AGP 8x and the x600 is PCI-E 16x

Yeah I would think that if they put it on the R-series, then they would do the same for the T-series. After all, didn't they promise the x600 half an year ago, or so I've heard? Unless there are heat issues with the T-series, of course.

Still would like to know the difference in performance. Perhaps it's time to look it up myself.

hmm... if x600 would make it to T series I would consider buying 14" T series with high res screen insteed of X... (if there will be 14" x600 T model...)
