This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    This belongs in a separate thread, but does anyone know if there is a patch for the R52 where the infamous 2010-error has been removed when installing another hard drive other than a non-ibm certified one?

    I believe there is a BIOS update that removes the beep and continues on after hanging for a few seconds.
