i recently bought an R52 with out any recovery cds. I apologize if this isn't a kosher request, but would it be ok for someone to burn copies of recovery cd's and mail them to me? I can pay you for shipping? I don't know how to contact the previous owner anymore to ask about the cd's and can't find them on ebay.
thanks
nate

Why not order them direct from IBM? - 1-800-IBM-4YOU
Ebay has 3 there

Or just use a OEM XP cd depending on what version you have -
sorry, i should have elaborated. the military firewall i'm behind won't allow me to access ebay.
not easy to call stateside. if i use an XP OEM cd that won't restore any of the ibm software, i think some of those files are corrupt. i'd like to do a complete wipe/reinstall -
Well you could wipe it with a XP OEM disc which will restore fully and then you could download the drivers and software from IBM's site.

Can you not burn off the recovery discs?
