Saw a review (PC World?) that compared the keyboard of the R60 unfavorably with the R52, saying that the R60 keyboard is "stiffer" and claiming that long-time Thinkpad devotees (me) wouldn't like the change. Does anyone have any experience in this regard? I'm on my third Thinkpad (a 600E) and am VERY happy with this keyboard. Any observations would be appreciated.

The keyboard on my X21 seemed a little better, but I know the T and the R share keyboards and I'm not disappointed at all with my T60 keyboard.

i used my fren's R52, prefer my R60 as i feel the "stiffer" one was my fren's

i'll say it's more depending on which manufacturer u get, mine is Chicony, majority will prefer ALPS or NMB

maybe u can check out ur R52 KB manufacturer instead and order another same 1 when u got ur R60? :D
