This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    After reading numerous posts on this and other forums I've pretty much made up my mind to buy Thinkpad R60. I now also have the cash but I could wait couple months or so if prices are expected to go down. Does any of you people have any idea if this could happen, and would it be worth waiting? Thank you.

    Probably not much as the R60 with Merom is coming.
