I've just upgraded my R60 (9456-DRM) to Vista Ultimate. It worked well except that the battery sometimes discharged even the lappy was unused. For example, it was down from 100% to 94% overnight and 94% to 89% the next day. And I think that it keeps reducing.
FYI, I set "start charging" threshold when below 65%.
Also, before upgrading, even I set threshold for charging (65%), the battery still started charging automatically at 90% or 95% and resulted in wear level of nearly 20%.
Can anyone help me?
Tks

Are you saying that it drains the battery even when attached to power? If not, sleep still drains power from the battery when the power adapter is not plunged in. Depending on which battery size you have, 6% a day may be normal. Hibernate uses much less.
No clue whats up with battery management though. -

Thus, when a computer is hibernating it will take up no power (other than the battery's internal circuitry).
