Hi, I need to buy a notebook for school (+ the internet, MS Office, Sony Vegas, Adobe After Effects & Flash, games like NBA Live 07, NFS Carbon...), I definitely want a ThinkPad, but I can't decide, if I should buy a R60, or a R61 (which is a little bit more expensive in my country).

    R60: C2D T5600 (1.8 GHz), 1024MB Ram, Ati X1400, 15" SXGA+ TFT
    + 9 cell battery, 1024Mb Ram, Seagate Momentus 160GB 7200.2

    R61: C2D T7100 (1.8 GHz), 1024MB Ram, nVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M, 15.4'' WSXGA+
    + 9 cell battery, 1024Mb Ram, Seagate Momentus 160GB 7200.2

For which one would you decide and why? (and sorry for my english, if I've made some mistakes)

    Thanks

The R61's specs are superior in every aspects, and I think it's also slimmer. Since it's Santa Rosa it should last longer longer on the batteries, but since it also has a more powerful GPU, I'm not so sure.
What are the prices in your country?

BTW, either configure your laptop with 2gig of memory, or with 512MB and upgrade yourself, cuz you're gonna need it with Vista and gaming. And it's good for the batteries too.
