    Dear Sirs! ;]

trying to complete my purchase I had some doubts and hope somebody can clarify them for me :)

R61 with the Nvidia Quadro NVS 140M.... now I saw the Mobile Intel PM965 Express in the specs, and was wondering if their was an option in bios or some other way to turn off the quadro and make use of the internal GPU without having to open up a recently purchased laptop?

Cheers and thanks for any help :)

    Maxwell

No unfortunately, PM965 is the mobo. The R61 does not have both dedicated and IGP. :)

    Hope this clear it up.

true story. seems like everyone adopted this technology that has been present for years in sony laptops among others. Nvidia is a huge contributor claiming hybrid graphics support for all 8 series cards and up. all about the green (money and earth)

Thank you very useful info there :) [montevina] ... Going to the states at the end of summer, in addition to the €->$ exchange rate, I'll take all that as a sign to sit back and wait just a bit more, [EDIT] plus the option to customise my lenovo in the US :)

    Greets,
    Maxwell
