I have this weird problem with my R61. It happens in both my Vista32 and XP32 partitions. Every now and then (usually once a day), it will decide to start forcing the cursor to the left like you're holding down the left arrow key (usually, but the last time it happened it forces it down like you're holding the pagedown key).
I have no idea what causes this. I've thought it might be the keys sticking, but it's not. They keys "click" just fine. They're not stuck down or anything like that.
The last time it did that I had to restart before it worked fine again. Sometimes when it messes up it randomly stops for a while, then starts messing up again.
Anyone know what could be causing this? Could it be something in the software? I have all the latest drivers and all that.

What cursor are you referring to? The mouse cursor or the text cursor because the no keyboard key moves the mouse cursor so I assume text?
Please specify. -

Hmm...
I recall Renee and some other people having the same issues. I'm not sure if they ever found a solution though.
Try this first,
Control Panel > Mouse > UltraNav tab > Trackpoint settings > Uncheck the box that says "Enable Press-to-Select" -
Thanks, Arkit3kt. My XP partition needed that box unchecked, but my Vista one was already unchecked, so I doubt that was the problem. Did Renee ever figure it out? Anyways, I'll bump this thread if it happens again. Hopefully I'll be able to share more if it does.

R61 - STRANGE issue. Cursor/screen goes crazy randomly (like an arrow key is forced down)
