The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    The ultrabay on the r61 is different from the T61 right? one is the ultrabay enhanced and the T61 is the ultrabay slim, correct? I need a second HDD adapter for the R61 to pull some info from my other laptops (not working) but the only adapter I see is the one for SATA hard drives and i know the other laptops are not sata. Does anyone carry the ultrabay HDD adapter for regular PATA HDDs, that will work with the R61. The one i seen doesn't work with the R61.
