    Hi

Few days ago i bought new hard drive [ST9320421ASG] for my thinkpad r61.
I formatted it (NTFS), made partitions with partition magic 8, and installed OS.
First i installed vista x64 and blue screens appears and most of archived/compressed files have CRC errors (but works after extraction). Then i deleted partitions, formatted it again and installed XP, system works fine now but CRC errors didn't disappear.

There are also currupt .cab errors while installing aplications by LAN.

I tested HD with seatools, pcdoctor, bios-test, chkdisk and partition magic (while making partitions). All test passed.
So my question is, what's wrong ?

PS. im using 7zip (same thing happens with WinRar)

    Thank you.
I just tested my RAM with memtest and one module gives 4k errors in 2 minutes. Second one seems to be good.

Ill check if that was the problem.
