    R61 annoying humming noise.

    Hello fellow ThinkPadG33kz,

    Today I received my new ThinkPad R61 14.1", and I must say it is a great machine. There is only one thing, but this thing is killing me atm. It makes this buzzing or humming noise when on battery power. It appears when I use the mouse (TrackPoint and Pad), when I connect to A/C power, the noise disappears. Argh! I really hope someone has got an answer, it would tear me even more apart if I have to send it to repair.
