I have just purchased a 14.1 inch R61 for college, and so far i am 100% happy with my purchase. The only problem i am having is with my integrated webcam. I can't get it to work without using some sort of third party software like yawcam or amcap. When i go into device manager it says the device is working properly and the device driver is up to date. How do i get my webcam to work without having to go thorugh some type of third party software?

For XP, you can access it under My Computer, but I'm not sure for Vista. I do know that it's detected as a webcam under programs such as messengers and movie editors. If you don't want to install anything, I think you can take pictures/videos using Windows Movie Maker.

Shouldnt I be able to use the webcam without using any other type of software? Under device manager the integrated webcam is listed as running properly and it says all its drivers are up to date.
