    R61 memory slots

    Hello,
    is it possible to change memory modules in both of 2 slots? Where are the slots located?

    Yes it is possible as long as the RAM is compatible with the MOBO. Where they are is beyond me since I don't have the R61. also you could always just take out all the screws and then look lol :)

    yes, holds up to 4GB, 2GB in each slot

    I believe it's under the keyboard........

    Thaks for answer, but i'm wondering where is second slot located, because in lenovo documentation, there is only one slot in section replacing FRU - DIMM.

    The second slot should be right under the first one. If you take out the first stick you'll usually see it right under.

    It is under the palm rest as it is shown on the system instruction manual
