Any of these will work for you. Just find the cheapest one.

If you don't want to buy off of newegg.com just make sure that the ram is 200 pin DDR2 SO-DIMM 667MHz. 800MHz will work too but it will probably be cheaper to just get 667MHz (800MHz will be downclocked to 667MHz anyways).

    thanks for the input,
is it advisable to have 3gb of Ram or would it be better to buy 2 2gb sticks and bring it up to 4gb? Ideally,I would want to upgrade it all the way up to 4gb,I just want to know if there will be any performance or conformance issues if I have 1gb in one slot and 2gb in the other slot.

Only 64 bit operating systems can utilize a full 4GB. Anything now 64 bit can only support about 3.2GB or RAM. 1Gb and 2GB will cause no trouble.

Like Ark said, 2gb and 1gb will be fine. If you want though there are many deals out with 4GB kit *2gb sticks x 2* out there.

And 32-bit Vista can only optimize 3.2-3.5GB of the 4GB of ram
64-bit Vista can optimize up to like 16GB of ram.
