I get some PMs on these types of questions, so here are some pictures

the top view of the 7 and 6 cell really shows that there is a slight difference.

o the "corner_fins" image, you can see the R61 on top of the T61, not much diff there at all.
the rest of the images have self explanatory names, but if you have a questions, let me know.

    Added more pics.
Added one more request, of the two side by side. low light night pic, = crappy results, but you ge tthe point. too tired to take out a better cam :)

    Very nice.

Would you happen to have any photos, of a side-by-side comparison with 14.1 and 15.4 WS thinkpads, any models?

Cool, can you photograph R61 next to T61? I'd like to see how much bigger is the R series.

thta was kinda the point of the pics, in that you cant really see the difference :)

if i get time, ill try to get a shot of them open next to eachother, because that is the only time tha tyou notice the T61 being slimmer in the front

edit: just added it to page 1 of this thread. the pics make it look like more of a diff, but its not that much...a personal thing i guess

Thanks for the pics. I see you have OCZ RAM. How's that working out for you? I just recently had to RMA the same exact stick I had for a year, since it was causing so many BSODs for me.

I had to RMA OCZ RAM as well but for my desktop. Still, OCZ flash drives are the best, dual channel memory makes 4GB transfers a breeze.

do a search on here about logos, basically if you make an individual purchase in the US, you should get the old IBM logos.

I'm looking to get a bigger battery to travel with and found this thread, interesting comparison pics of the batteries. I wonder how much better the 7 cell is than the 6 cell? Also, how much should we expect to pay for a Lenovo 7 cell on Ebay, on average?
