what is best solution to connect R61 (VGA) to LCD TV with HDMI? TV doesn't have VGA input.

One option is the ThinkPad Advanced Dock, which has DVI out (can get to HDMI with a simple converter), but your audio will have to go separately. There are VGA + audio to HDMI converters out there, but I would go digital all the way if I could. There are USB docks which also have DVI - Belkin has one. I also remember people asking about an HDMI ExpressCard, but haven't seen one yet.
