The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Okay, forgive me for making another one of those "wow, my order shipped early!" threads, but this just blew me away. The most important factor here is that I ordered a 14.1" wxga + widescreen, and it shipped a month and a half ahead of schedule! Additionally, the shipping method says "expedited", maybe that's normal, but it's going to get from China to Chicago by Thursday--5 business days!! Hope this is encouraging to anyone else who ordered a wxga+, or is still planning to. Even though the website doesn't list it, you can just order this screen by calling, that is what I did.     I ordered an R61 WXGA+ today and the ship date is 10/29!

    Hopefully I have the same experience you did.
