    R61i Vs R61e ?

    Whats the difference ? i just bought one it was supposed to be listed as R61i and when the guy gave me the manufacturer number i checked and it turned out to be R61e

    although process ram other things are the same specs listed on the auction and lenovo's website

    should i be afraid ? its closed box

    e does not have a touchpad. navigation is by Trackpoint. my wife has a 61i, and I have the 61e.

    I have almost always thought it is cool to have such a stripper model that it does not even have a touchpad. Plus it confuses people big time.

    I don't know either. Maybe it's the modular drive. Some of the i models don't have the touchpad either or the docking connector, which the R61e lacks as well. It depends on the machine type.
