I recently bought my laptop from the outlet and it cam with 8 GB of RAM however with the 32 bit version of Windows 7. I'm still trying to decide if I should keep the 8GB of RAM and pay a little extra for the 64 bit version or simply sell the extra 4 GB of RAM (that the Windows 32 bit version doesn't handle). I'm not sure if I'll ever have the need for the 64 bit version. If I decide to keep the 32 bit version I'll the sell the extra RAM on ebay. Can anyone please tell me which RAM I should remover and how? Thanks.

Flip the laptop over, remove the 2 screws on the RAM cover (located pretty much right in the middle of the machine) and there you go. Although, I would definitely keep the RAM and upgrade to 64-bit.

You might say something about how you plan to use the machine.

4GB of memory is a VERY healthy quantity. I have two 4GB systems running 64 bit Windows 7 and I dont think I've ever come near the 4 GB mark. Unless I am on the machine all time of doing something special with. there is no need at this time for a larger machine.
