We just ordered a T60 for work, and want to add another GB of RAM. Is there any way to guess whether it uses 533 or 667 RAM without knowing the model number?

    it's a 15" w/Flexview, T7200, 1 1GB DIMM RAM, X1400, 100GB 7200RPM

Just get the 667. It will downclock to 533 if it isn't supported.

The T7200 is a core 2 duo that runs at 667.

OK, if all the C2D processors use the 667 RAM then it should be good. The RAM selector on Newegg doesn't differentiate between the core duo and core 2 duo T60s.

If I actually had the laptop it would be easy to get the model number. Want to have the RAM whenever the laptop arrives.

    Thanks everyone.
