I purchased my T61p with 4gb of RAM and Vista business 64bit. I turned on the monitor with Vista Sidebar ad it says, with photoshop open, that my RAM is at 74% usage.

The fact that all your memory is being used up with vista is infact a good thing. The is the one thing that vista does better than most operating systems...resource allocation.

For a more indepth explanation, you can read through here: http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/archives/000688.html

Bottom line: Unless you are being bogged down - I wouldnt worry about it. Vista should, and will, use up all the memory it can.
