I purchased a memory master 2gb dd3 pc3-8500 so dimm 1066 for my t500. I installed it and I hear a series of beeps. I tried putting it in the first slot, second slot and I get beeps. I tried interchanging it with the one that came with the t500 still beeping. I just left it the way it was when I purchased my t500 and no beeps. What could be causing the dimm to not work with my t500?

That doesn't mean it can't be bad.
