I think I might have posted a similar thread, but I can't seem to find it.

Anyways, I am trying to optimize the most out of my battery on my T60 - I have found that the "enable popdown mode" option helps in reducing and eliminating (in my case) the buzzing noise that happens as the CPU switches the states. However, there is also the "Enter C4 on C3 command" and the "Enable PopUp Mode" (this is what makes the noise, I think). What combinations of these 3 options equate to the longest battery runtime?

What I am so surprised about is that the battery life of mine - according to the PDF:

Up to 4.4hr (standard 6-cell, discrete graphics models)
Up to 6.7hr (optional 9-cell, discrete graphics models)

My NORMAL battery life is about 4.5 hours with the nine cell! I understand these are all estimates, but I mean, if I get a battery life that is 70% of what is the "up to" estimation, there is something wrong there! =[ I am considering getting the UltraBay battery - anyone have any feedback on this product?

Undervolting with RMclock does help a bit. But you wont get your missing 2 hours. Maybe 10-15 minutes more. The estimated battery life is with everything disabled (wifi, bluetooth) and the computer 100% idle with the screen at its lowest setting.

Bah. You would think that they would post the standards upon their testing methodologies to get these numbers >.< but Lenovo's website is all screwed up as of the past couple days >=|
