    Can somebody please help to specify the Ram Type and speed supported by T510.
    I just ordered T510 with 2 gb ram. I wan to upgrade it to 8 gb by buying more ram online

    Yes it can, but unless you're getting it at the same price or cheaper than the DDR3-1066 (PC3-8500) then it's not worth to pay extra. The system will just downclock to use the PC3-8500 speed regardless if you put faster RAMs in.

    The price Difference is only 9$. It cost 9 $ more for DDR3 1333.
    Also , does ram manufacturing company matters a lot.
    The options are GSkill , Corsiar, Crucial.
    Gskill is the cheapest.

    I would say no. Older ThinkPads could be picky about memory, but the new ones are not. Buy whatever's cheaper and if it doesn't work, exchange it.

    You should note that to have 8GB of RAM in the T510, you will need to replace the stock 2GB - that is, you're going to have to buy 2 sticks of 4GB PC3-8500 DDR3 RAM (1066MHz). The cheapest I've seen each of those is around ~$100, so that's a $200 upgrade there.

    Ordered Corsiar DDR3 8gb 1085 for 212 $ shipped from tigerdirect
    Installed it today on the new lenovo T510 machine and it worked fine.
