    Hey guys,
So I just got a W530 and I've been having random beeps from it. Every now and again, the computer will make a beep from both speakers or through the headphone port. It kinda sounds like a BIOS beep, but I'm not completely sure if it is the same or not. I've tried reinstalling the Realtek audio drivers and reinstalling Windows but am still having it.

I can't find a way to reproduce it, I've heard it during youtube videos or playing games on Steam.

    Any suggestions?

Is it a loud beep, or is it quiet?

I know that the Sandy Bridge ThinkPads suffer from CPU whine resulting in a beeping noise around the CPU, so that might be also present in Ivy Bridge ThinkPads.

I think it's somewhat loud? I don't think it's from the CPU though.
