I just bought an Asus VG248QE 1080p monitor with a 144hz refresh rate. Now I've learned that the Y410P that I have is not able to reach that high of a refresh rate. NVIDIA control panel doesn't have the options since the laptop is optimus enabled, the control panel option just goes off of Intel HD Graphics options, and the Intel HD Graphics options only offers refresh rates up to 60. So is there any good way to force a higher refresh rate?

I would hate to do either of these but they are options.
    1) There is a way to get rid of Optimus and make the laptop run on the GT755M4 all the time but that would eat up battery and I do have to take this thing to class still.
    2) Create a custom resolution profile with Intel HD Graphics (http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-029478.htm), but this is risky and I have had no luck finding which type of timing standard the monitor uses.

Any help is appreciated. Many thanks.
