Hi, I'm new here so this would be my first post.
I was wondering if my clean install on my T61p (after following the guide on these wonderful forums after lurking) has anything to do with why the Readyboost is not working.

I have a 4 GB card of the one I linked above.
I asked some of my friends and they said that I should download some drivers, but there are none on the company's website.
I then disabled the ReadyDrive, and the ReadyBoost file was put onto the SD card. I was under the assumption that both would work. When I re-enabled ReadyDrive, I looked in the SD card and it was back to empty.
I looked at this link, http://www.grantgibson.co.uk/misc/readyboost/?make=ACP-EP%20Memory and it says I can use the card, but it has to be formatted as FAT32. I formatted it before trying to ReadyBoost, after ReadyBoost, and tried both NTFS and FAT32.

Looking at this link, the 1 GB version of the card I use has the fastest speeds of those recorded, so I was wondering if it was because of my clean install that this is not working. I would rather not have to do another install as I have already used some keys for some programs I installed.

Try disabling the SuperFetch service. It is used by the system for caching and may be the cause of the conflict.

So I am guessing you cannot have SuperFetch and Readyboost/ReadyDrive on at the same time. Thanks for the information.

Well I can't be sure of that (I've never experienced this problem), but its worth a shot since you have nothing to lose.

By that, do you mean you didn't have to turn off SuperFetch and got both ReadyBoost and ReadyDrive to work with it, or that you haven't dealt with ReadyBoost?

You can have superfetch and readyboost and ready drive together.
What you can't have is two devices using readyboost.

You need to disable readyboost in the turbo memory console so that you can enable your SD Card for readyBoost as linked John B.

Hopefully the 512MB that TM was using for readyBoost is attributed to ReadyDrive, but this stays a mystery i couldn't no confirmation on this.

I mean that I'm not sure whether or not my earlier advice will fix your problem. I've never heard of this problem before, but disabling the only cache that Vista has makes sense.
