Is Lenovo shipping the Vista anytime upgrade disk with the T61p that has Vista Ultimate? I'd like to know just so I can get everything else ready to do a clean install.
-
No, I believe they do not. I am not 100% though.
-
I can only say that mine didn't come with one but I ordered basic. I think they stop sending them out because of a conflict with Microsoft.
-
Mine came with it.
-
These mixed results scare me a tad. My hopes of a clean install seem a little grim now. Any suggestions?

Buy the disc before it comes, linky. Under "if you need a Vista disc".
-
I must express my graditutde towards you Tailic, as I was unable to find this on my own. Much thanks to you.

On further inspection, the link to buy the disk is http://windowsanytimeupgrade.com/disc/
When you go to purchase the $7.00 disc, it says 32-bit. You can change it to 64-bit if you want. I'm assuming that the disk contains all version of vista, at least from what I've read. I'm going to go ahead and purchase it and after I do my clean install, I'll see if I can get this included in one of the clean install guides. I'm sure I'm not the only one that had this question. Good work everyone. -
Np, I wish I knew about it before I got my T61, now I'm waiting for my disc to get here.
-
I think this is one of the reasons that Johnny is so hell bent on the FAQ update.
-
Definitely. It would make things much easier, I suggest you support it to make the forums more user friendly.

Mine didn't come with it. I chose vista ultimate.
Real quick question
