Hi just a quick query. Does anyone have an X301 with the 128 SSD and the DVD writer on board & 6 cell battery? In that case i would like to ask how much does it weigh exactly. I am thinking about an X200 Tablet at 3.5 pounds and just want to know the real weight difference with the X301. Yes the X200 Tablet would be with 4 cell. Thanks. J.

The weight of the two would be comparable. However, the x301 will be thinner, included a DVD+RW drive, and have a higher resolution (albeit lower quality) display.

The x200 Tablet with 4 cell should get close to the battery life of the x301 with 6 cell (the x301 uses a very small 6 cell battery).

Looks like there is 100 grams difference only between Tablet X200 and X301. Still all a bit heavy for my liking, my current Toshiba is under 3 Lbs, really lightweight, now just need to find out the exact weight of that X200s with 1280 x 800 screen ... and the difference with the tablet, I think it will still come out a bit lighter ... How I wish there was a Lenovo Shop around the corner LOL

I would guess the x200s with 1280x800 screen and 4 cell battery is about 2.6-2.7 pounds. The domestic 1440x900 x200s is listed at 2.5, and the 1280x800 x200 is listed at 2.9 pounds. The x200s with WXGA display (I think the exact one pulled from the x200) should fall about halfway in between.
