    Hello,

I want to replace my wifi card for my Thinkpad L420. I want to buy an intel wifi N card:

Newegg.com - Intel 112BN.HMWWB Centrino Wireless-N 1000 802.11b/g/n Wireless Half Mini PCIe Card IEEE 802.11b/g/n Mini PCI Express Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates WEP, WPA, WPA2 802.1x (EAP-TLS, TTLS, PEAP, LEAP, EAP-FAST),

    I have read that:

"For those wanting to do the same: The trick is to plug the card into the spare mini PCIe slot and not the WLAN card slot. This way the BIOS will not complain about unsupported hardware. The spare slot is meant for a WWAN/UMTS card, but the WLAN antenna cables reach it just fine. It is really simple to do its just 3 screws for the panel and one for the card, plus the antenna plugs."

Can someone confirm this is possible in my notebook? I have a second gen intel i5 L420 14" laptop. Are there instructions about opening the laptop and replacing the card?
