This is not a review as those have been done, just some comments from a new user. Overall, I am pleased with it. The multitouch touchpad and screen can be a bit cumbersome due to my inexperience but having a touch screen is kinda neat. The touchpad is surface mounted which makes it easy to miss while scrolling. I fail to grasp the utility of a touch screen in this form factor however. The LED backlight is greatly appreciated easily allowing me to work outside. The internal color calibrator tends to give vibrant colors a phosphorescent hue upon implementation. I haven't solved this yet. Battery life is abysmal. I have a 9-cell and the battery app indicates I can get about 2 hours on a charge. The price we pay for horsepower! :) I am typically near an outlet anyway. All in all this is a very solid replacement for T61P. After I get passed the initial shock of this not being my T61P, I am sure the small issues mentioned here will fade away.
