After a hard drive crash Lenovo support sent me a new hard drive and a set of recovery discs. All reinstalled well, but the Microsoft OneNOte that had been in the originaly installation was not restored. I need to see what to do to restore that program. Any suggestions? I don't know if it's on the recovery CD's and just didn't get loaded somehow, or if it's a separate piece perhaps?

You might want to call and check that you were shipped the right CDs. The FRUs are printed right on them. Should be P/N #######.

My other suggestion would be to poke around the C:\SWTOOLS folder.

Ah. I found the OneNote CD. I searched all through my discs and couldn't find it. Then I opened the lid of my scanner -- and there it was. I guess I was scanning the Key so I'd have a record in my files!
