This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    OK so I hear the Thinkps dont ship with recovery CDs. Is the image on a hidden partition and is it possible to burn my own so that a recovery CD is made? Is this possible?

    Yes and yes. You can burn recovery discs and there is also a hidden partition which can be used to recover the factory state with.
