    Hi guys,

I'm new here sorry. But I have a problem. I have a lenovo T500. Honestly It is a 2nd hand laptop that I bought and it came with windows vista.

Now the problem is that I changed the OS to a Linux. I don't have the recovery disc.

I posted already in the lenovo community but it seems i was banned from accessing the knowledgebase and forums for some reason that I do not even know. (I did not violate any rules whatsoever).

Now, My question is if I install an OEM version of Windows 7. I can still download the apps present in Vista right from lenovo?

Thank in advance for any info you can give.

P.S. Any of you had the problem with lenovo community? I think it is IP block or something because my friends can access the forum on their laptops except mine. any solutions if possible. thanks.

You'd want to install the Windows 7 version, but all the Lenovo drivers and applications will be on Lenovo's website. Any third party software may have be installed already to run the update, like WinDVD for example.
