    Reformat HD voids warranty?

    i have a lenovo t61 laptop. my question is does formating my laptop to install windows xp, voids the warranty? thank you for your reply :)

    No, it won't void your warranty, but they may require you to restore the factory preloaded OS before they will help you.

    ok good I was worried there too because i'm going to XP wipe then drivers only.

    anyway if i want to go back to vista, will i just press the think vantage button then restore? thanks!!
