    Hi all,


    I am new to this laptop game so sorry for the question.

    I have the T60 with no extra gfx, only the plain 945gm chipset and drivers for my gfx.

    I only get 60mhz refresh rate which makes my eyes bleed.

    How do I get round this?

    And where can I find installation instructions for a pci express card, as im assuming this is the answer to the problem :D

    60 Hz on an LCD should not make your eyes bleed because it isn't like a CRT strobing. I couldn't use anything less than 75 Hz on a CRT but any rate is fine on a LCD, as long as it is over 40 Hz (about what your eye can see).

    Edit: that is if your eyes have actually bleed its in your head. Try it. They won't hurt.

    yeah, drwho9437 is right. On a LCD, anything higher than what the eye can distinguish should look fine. However, no, the LCD can't go higher than 60Hz, IIRC.
