My mom is paying for my laptop, but I am going to do the checkout with my debit card. If I get the quote from lenovo direct, am I required to pay? I am a little concerned, because mom might change her mind about buying me a laptop from lenovo for whatever reason, and I will be left with a quote I cannot afford. I am not entirely sure what it means to get a quote, or what a quote actually means.
Also this is what I read from the Thinkpad sticky.

Nowhere does it say I have to pay for the quote, or what a quote is. I know I must learn these things on my own, but any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
