I am currently traveling but rec'd my T61. Want to do a remote desktop to check it out. What are the detailed instructions on both ends to effect this? Thanks. Will be accessing from an XP O/S system into the T61. Thanks.

    It's pretty easy.

One the receiving system, go into Control Panel | System | Advanced System Settings (if Vista) | Remote

Select "Allow connections from any computers runninig any version of Remote Desktop.)

Make a desktop icon for c:\windows\system32\mstsc.exe on the system that you will be remoting from.

Remote Desktop Connection in Vista is more secure supposedly, and you need to allow connections from other versions other then the latest.

Oops sorry Renee didn't see that...that is what I get for skimming. I would bet 90 percent of the mistakes are from skimming rather then READING...
