How hard would it be to remove the rom drive out of the Y550p? I'm looking to purchase a Y550p and need a 2nd HDD bay. Does the rom pop right out of it like the Thinkpads or do I have to take it apart to remove it?

I'd like to be able to carry the rom in my bag and swap it out should I need it.

    Any help appreciated.

Ideapad has a fixed optical drive, removing it probably involves dissembly of the laptop, and there is no hdd caddy for the ideapad AFAIK.

I uderstand that. I just want to know how hard it is to remove the DVD drive out of the laptop.

Can someone with a Y550 please give me an idea of how hard it would be to remove the DVD drive?

    Thanks for your time.
