So I read that keeping the ultrabay drive empty will help vent out some of the heat in the laptop. Is this recommended?

    Nah. It will attract dust.

Get the proper fan accessory if you plan on doing that.

What accessory do you recommend? I am kind of worry that the Y410P will overheat and stuff.

The Y410p should'nt overheat, i do massive GPU overclocks and the CPU/GPU does not get past 90C at any given time even after 4 hours of gaming.

I would recommend the Y400 fan if you can find it. It's a little hard to find these days.

Alright that is great to hear! At first I was worried about overheating the Y410p. I heard about yearly maintenance such as cleaning out the heat vents and reapplying the thermal paste, but taking out the covers/case voids the warranty.

I actually heard that the ultrabay fans don't work too good. It seems to have an adverse effect based on one user. Can you confirm?

And thats why you do it after the warranty runs out.

    Can't confirm, sorry. I don't own one.

Yea! After several hours of deductive reasoning and thinking, I finally figured that would be a good way to go about things. :D

Well if you do get it in the future, post a review! If it is likely that you will get it!

    Many thanks bro.

Well right now i just check Ebay on a daily basis for a cheap GN35. I found a few but none shipped to Canada. I'll see if i can contact the sellers and get them to test the modded SLI driver that Ember made.
