Wanting to get an old T430 up and running again. Needs a new mainboard. FRU says 04Y1406. When I search that I get results that include 04X3639 and sometimes both numbers are in the description. Are these two FRU’s interchangeable?

I'm not getting 04X3639 when I look. Where are you searching?

Thanks for looking at it to help me. I’m seeing stuff on eBay. Gonna try to load an image of an example.

The reason I’d like the other FRU to work is I saw some of the other part number from a seller with good reviews who claims to have new boards. I would rather have a new board than a 7 or 8 year old board that might be getting ready to fail:

I think the probability either board will fail is very low. eBay effectively offers a 45 day warranty because you can dispute it for 45 days, maybe longer if you fund Paypal with or use a credit card. The chances you'll lose a dispute are almost zero and if it's going to have a problem it'd most likely show up right away. I'd buy used, but that's me, though your money, your call.
