So, I've been meaning to get my old Thinkpad T61 14.1" Widescreen back into functioning order (I just ordered a replacement battery because my old one is completely non-functional) and the next step is to replace the lcd panel.
I know its easily do-able and I've fairly comfortable with the process, but I'm interested in finding a good source for a panel. I often see them on the likes of ebay (some that seem to have been stripped from another T61), and I'm looking for advice on where else I could look (trying to spend under 80$ if at all possible).
Mainly, the ones I see on eBay are like the following
NEW IBM LENOVO 42T0579 14.1" WXGA LCD SCREEN GLOSSY | eBay
or
14.1 LCD Screen Lenovo ThinkPad T61 Laptop WXGA+ 1440x900 42T0427 IBM Wide Panel | eBay
I would, in the end, prefer a matte screen, but if it's for the right price and other people have had luck with it, I'd be open to pretty much anything. I'd just prefer to find something that I know works.
Edit:
This is not to disclude sites such as Screentekinc, but I'm trying to find a cheap and reliable option

Try laptopscreen.com. You didn't specify the model number of your T61, but any 14.1 widescreen intended for a T61 will work, such as the 1440x900 matte screen for $75 here: LAPTOP SCREEN, LCD panels from $42. Dell, HP Compaq, Toshiba, Acer, IBM Lenovo, Sony, Gateway, Apple, Asus replacement screen display panel
Arrgh, I can't link directly to the webpage, but go to their site and look up Lenovo/IBM T61 7663-12U, the first screen listed there.
